Picked this up yesterday. Took it to the range this morning. Shot about 150 rounds mixed bag of Remington 230 FMJ, some 200 grain XTP HP handloads, and some 200 grain LSWC handloads. No problems. 10 round mag cut a ragged 1.5 inch hole at 10 yards off hand. It's more accurate than I will ever be. Great pistol.

How was the recoil? As compared to a 1911, for example?

I've been wanting one of those in 10mm because I figure such a heavy gun with such a low bore axis would be perfect for such an unforgiving round.

Very niceeeee :D

@Echo9
If you weren't already aware of it, you can swap the calibers with any other caliber EAA offers (9mm, 45, 38 super, 40S&W, 10mm).

IIRC, the match conversions are a bit more expensive, but they should be around the $250 area.

They don't show them on their website for the Match, but give EAA a call and they can tell you all about them.

The Elite match are SA only, the Elite Stock are SA/DA, and like the CZ75 lack a decocker.

The Meg-Gar mags work great for it too.

This is one of the best bank/buck guns on the market and is what the CZ97 should have been.

I agree with the original posters comments. I was truly impressed with my elite match 38 super. Amazing accuracy for such a cheap gun.

The Witness' are not cheap. They just don't have a bloated price tag. There is no way I could get the performance of my Limited 10mm for any less than double the price with any other make.

However, I'm not a fan of the rail on that new Match. They look better with a normal dust cover, IMO. My sister has a Match 10mm, excellent performer. I like my Limited better, but it also cost twice as much.

I don't really care for the rail either. I did some research before ordering, and found out the rail has been standard on them for a couple of years now. I actually plan on carrying this pistol, in fact I already have been carrying it, but I need a better holster. I'm thinking of getting the Blade Tech that Henning has listed on his site for the Match with rail.

BTW......that's a good looking Limited.
