won this Para-Ordnance P16 limited on an auction today for only $467! I plan to have the barrel reamed to 10mm and install some heavier springs so I can shoot full power 10mm. Add in some extra 16 round mags w/ some +2 baseplates and this will be one fun 18+1 10mm range gun. I can't wait to shoot some 10mm through it. 10's really are addicting, this now makes 2 (Tanfoglio 10mm witness was the 1st) and I think a Glock 29 will be the next 10mm.

Mag compatibility

Will that 40 smith mag take full length 10mm ammo? If not you'll end up with a single shot. I'm sure you're smith will inform you of that when you take it in.

P16-10

I built a 10mm on a Para P16-40 Limited five or six years ago.

I'll make you a good deal on the gun....

Yes, the P16-40 mags are long enough for the 10mm. Talk to Bob Hunter at Hunter Customs. He can rechamber your .40 barrel to 10mm for a very reasonable price.

Converting to 10mm might be a little more complicated that just swapping out some springs. Give Bob a call and discuss it with him. He has done this conversion a bunch of times.
