WooHoo The Alecto has Arrived

Mail just came and as Tracking showed my New Webley Alecto arrived. Fast USPS delivery as it was shipped on June 4th PM. Now I got to read the owners manual and clean & lube and see what it does.

Don't ask for pictures as my Grandkids have yet to take time to instruct me as to how to post them. Seems beyond this old mans ability.

What are your initial impressions?

If I may ask. How does the metal work look inside yours? Any surface rusting etc?

I think, barring the issues I had with finish, you will be very happy with that Alecto.

Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but as far as build quality it is excellent. There is no rust whatsoever and a lot of the metal inside is coated with a black coating, I'll not call it paint unless it is a light powder coat.

Glad I jumped when I did as all the .177 cal's are sold out that I can find, there is 1 used one on Amazon as of a while ago.

Yes it is a large pistol, glad I didn't chop anymore of my trigger finger off than I did or it would be a problem. LOL

It sits well in the hand.

Thought my P17 was accurate, this is even better, now if my old eyes and my shaking hands would only cooperate.

Trigger will take some getting used to, there is a take up, similar to a 2 stage, but after that its mushy as I've heard by others.

Sorry to say, I'm no longer in my prime. LOL
