I am working with Jeff Knox to get a GunVoter website running with a little more activity. As the election gets a little closer we need to be sure that we inform ourselves not on the Presidential election, but to all levels. Please forward this to every gun owner you know because if an anti-gun president joins forces with a anti-gun Congress the first gun targeted for a ban are black guns. Take a few minutes and get informed.
Below is a press release from GVDO.

A new web site, www.GunVoter.org, is seeking assistance from organizations and individuals who have information about state and local candidates in the upcoming elections. Information can be about a single candidate or a list of candidates and links to sources or additional information are encouraged.

GunVoter.org is designed to be a central clearinghouse and repository of information about candidates and legislative matters to help GunVoters cast their votes wisely. Along with areas for comment on federal matters, there are forum areas for each of the 50 states. Anyone can use, read, and post on GunVoter.org and everyone is encouraged to help improve this resource to make it more useful as the 2008 elections draw closer and for future elections.

GunVoter.org is a non-partisan, single-issue, user-driven website and is a project of Neal Knox Associates and The Firearms Coalition.

If we fail to elect pro-gun politicians to Congress and fire those who are anti-gun, it won't matter who the President is.
If that's the premise of this site, I don't agree.
As long as they don't have a veto-proof majority, the president will indeed matter.

Of course President matters.

But if we get rid of ALL anti-gun politicians and have only pro-gun politicians it trully would not matter if Sarah Brady was president. If they anti-gun forces were to elect ALL anti-gun politicians then it would not matter if Larry Pratt was president.

Neither of these scenarios are likely so - Of course President matters.
