I just ordered a set of XS Big sights for my Walther PPS and it came in Friday. Installed the sights and really liked how they looked. The acquisition of the front sight is super fast. I tried it with lights off and the front and rear lit up pretty bright green. I allowed the loctite to dry over night and went to the range yesterday to make sure my zero is correct. I shot about three magazines and it was spot on and for even in actual drills the shots were quick due to the front sight.

Later on the night i pull out the gun in low light and NOTHING. The front sight is dead. Doesnt matter in low light, no light or even if i charge the sight, it is pretty much dead. How the hell is that possible? The front sight says "Trijicon" on the side. Can the vial break under 9mm recoil? I am quite confused.

Not saying that you did but is it possible that inadvertently the sight was damaged during instillation.

breakage, please return product to the place of purchase, along with your
receipt. When returning products to XS remember to insure the package and
include a copy of your receipt.

The front sight on a PPS is so easy to install/uninstall? Just unscrew the screw underneath the slide under the front sight, put the new sight in and screw back the screw. I dont see how it can be damaged I can see the rear sight getting damaged from being banged around etc but not the front.

XS Customer Service is top notch. Call them or send an e-mail, explaining everything. They will probably send you a new front sight before you can even get the old in the mail back to them. ;)

I've got quite a few things w XS sights on them and nver had a problem w recoil greater than you mentioned. Sounds like a defective tritium insert. XS has awesome customer service. Give them a call and they will take good care of you.

Yeah, sounds like no chance for damage to the tube. It happens sometimes, and they should replace it without issue.
