A man was shot and killed after shooting a Dallas police officer early Sunday, according to an NBC5 report...

As passersby stopped to try to help, they, too were fired upon, until one man retrieved a gun from his car and shot the gunman, according to NBC5. Neither officer fired a shot, Hale said.

The story is still a little muddy. One source has the good "guy" being a female CHL holder. She was shooting back after one of her companions was killed.
