I got'em! i FINALY found "a nice person" who shared some of his private stock of old style .30 cal. Winchester Silvertips with me! they arrived today, and IMMEDIATLY loaded up some. I am so happy! i was down to my LAST ROUND! I Have been hanging on to them, only using them for hunting for the last 5 years. now i have fresh stuff. YEEEEHAAAA!!!

IMO, don't sit back and enjoy too long before you start looking again. You don't ever want to be down to 1 round again, do you?

dont worry, i will still be keeping my eyes open, but since these are pretty much going to be like dinosaurs, i WILL be restricting these to 2 shots just prior to hunting to double check the scope, and hunting only. that way, they should last a while. but, if you run into someone else who has 180gr .308" or 190gr. 308" boat tail (only used a couple of years in the "supreme" ammo) OLD STYLE silvertips, let me know!
