I'm looking to see if anyone is interested in training on rifle marksmanship per the Rifleman program of the Revolutionary War Veterans Association (click on the Rifleman link in the top frame). I'm an NRA-certified rifle instructor and I've shot a 240 out of 250 on the Army Qualification Test of Fred's M14 Stocks.
Course of fire would include instruction on the fundamentals of marksmanship, dry-fire training to get comfortable with the fundamentals, 1" squares at 25 yards to hone skills, and at least one iteration of the 25 yard Army Qualification Test. Total time is under 3 hours, total ammo 150 rounds. Would take place 1230 to 1530 on a Sunday afternoon.
Cost free for the first time, as attendees will be my guinea pigs I'd like to limit it to 4 attendees at first.
No testosterone, no mousegun comments; just low-key rifle instruction for you and an opportunity to hone my instructor skills for me.
Anybody interested? Any and all serious suggestions welcomed.
