Your BUG or pocket carry revolvers

Yesterday, after posting in this thread, I made a trip over the hill to take our granddaughter home, and then to spend an evening at my cigar club. This was my choice, meaning my oldest M&P 340 (from the first production run, according to what the factory told me), and a Spyderco PM2 (gift from son) and one of my many Victorinox Tinkers from my working days.

I'd never seen one of these, either. BTW, because the gun was fired from within the holster gizmo, was it restricted by the rocket surgeons at the ATF?

As I recall, it wasn't a prohibited item, even here in CA, like the actual wallet holsters were. It was easily found hanging on wall racks in gun stores back then. It didn't break up the profile of the grip, cylinder or the end of the barrel, but just added some bulk below the snub. Bigger than a wallet. It did offer a Bodyguard-type profile to help prevent a hammer spur from snagging on the draw.

I only tried it as an interesting widget back then, because pocket holsters were all that common. I wanted something that would help keep the snub oriented in a cargo pocket, but it could tip rearward too easily. It soon ended up in the 'interesting junk' drawer. I modified some inexpensive suede IWB clip holster to use as a pocket holster, and even tried the multi-rubberband around the factory stocks trick for a while (to conceal under a tucked shirt). Then, I later got one of the early clips that screwed to the R/side of the snub frame. Nowadays I use either a pocket holster, or sometimes an old paddle or belt scabbard.
