YouTube Problems?

Today I decided to check on some old semi-auto pistols (three FN 1910/1922s, and a 1914 Mauser) I haven't seen or fired in 3-4 years. As a rule, I try to keep assembly/disassembly info handy for such instances. However, NADA. So, I tried YouTube.

Every time, I received a YouTube "error" message. Has YouTube been dumping firearm information?

I have gotten that error a few times trying to watch firearm YT videos. Refreshing the page always clears the error in my case.

Watched about a dozen videos last night about AR-10s and muzzle brakes with no issues.

Glad you found the link. Also if you use browsers like Firefox or Chrome, they make add ons where you can download YouTube videos and save them locally on a computer. With firearms videos getting taken down on there, it is helpful to save a copy so it is harder to lose next time.

Utoob has altered their buffering and streaming to accommodate the anticipated greater usage during the Covid-more-vid-work from home thunder dome period.

They had a public notice about it a couple of days ago.

Same with Netflix and some others.
