This being my first post on THR, please bare with me if I am a little slow or maybe mess up a little. Thanks.

I have recently come across a 410 SXS shotgun that I am having trouble trying to ID. By the proof stamps, it was made by Zabala in 1984. The gun appears to have never been fired. Here are some of the particulars. It is a boxlock, SXS, double trigger, with 26" barrels. It is scroll-engraved, silver finish with a checkered pistol grip and beaver-tail forend. It has a rubber butt pad with "Churchill" imbossed on it. The barrels are blued with the exception of the last 4" which appear to have been case hardened. Just foward of the trigger guard is engraved "WOODWARD IV-X". There is no other writting on the barrels, with the exception of a few proof marks, choke marks ** & ***, and 10.3 stamped on the bottom of both barrels.

It looks just like a Churchill/Kassnar that I found a picture of but the "Woodward IV-X" has me stumped. I know the IV-X is 410, but I can find no refference to the Woodward anyplace. And why no importer stampings?

Well, that's about it. Any ideas as to importer, model or value? I appreciate any help you might be able to give. I have noticed that Michael Kassner frequents your site but he's probably a little busy right now. Sorry to hear about CD. Thanks again.
