Zero/Patterning question

Hi all,

I have a Mossberg 590A1 with GRS that I'm thinking of getting a mag extension for. When I put the extension on, will my shotty have the same zero and patterns as it does with the stock magazine cap, or do I need to re-zero and re-pattern it?

TIA for any info anyone can give me.

Shouldn't change a thing but I would never change anything on a guin without checking the zero out afterward.
