Forgive me if there are many other threads on the LR300 and other ZM accessories, however since ZM is under the 3 character minimum in vBulletin it's difficult to get accurate search results. Or perhaps my searches were accurate and I found nothing discussed about them.
At any rate I would just simply like to know what their reputation is like and the opinions of any and all who have handled and perhaps own any of their products.

I plan on ordering their bungee sling soon.
But by the looks of the quality I think I'd like one of everything :)

I know availability is an issue. IIRC, these aren't really production items. He waits until he has a minimum order of 75 before he starts production, and requires 100% payment up front. That's more dough than most people are willing to commit without even an ETA. Thus, it takes quite some time to reach the magic number - sort of a chicken/egg problem.

Other than that - seems quite pricey to me. You don't get the full benefit of the setup without having a preban rifle to put it on, which drives the total price into the $2500 range. Kinda spendy for a semi, and arguably not much better than a modern AR.

I think there is a huge market niche for some quality company (like ZM systems) to come out with AR-15 uppers that utilize a gas piston system and are affordable. Imagine AR-15 ergonomics, FAL/M1A reliability, AR-15 sights, AR-15 trigger, AR-15 scoping options, wowzer. (Heck throw in a 7.62x39 bolt and feed it .26 Grendel (aka 6.5 PPC), and you'd have one handy dandy 700 yard battle rifle)
