I have 2 1851 Navies in .44 cal. made by Pietta. My question is, will the 1860 Army conversion cylinders work in the 1851?
45 cal. conversion cylinders ?

Yes they will. In fact mine works better in my 1851 .44 than in my Armys

Yes, they will fit. Whether they are drop-in or not depends on when they were manufactured.
Pietta switched to CAM/CAD in the early 2000's...anything produced after that is drop in right out of the box. My mid-90s Piettas not so much...they will fit but not without trimming

No. The Pietta cylinder is longer.
