Should be able to reach way out there. If it's not raining I'll try and play at longer ranges tomorrow.
Could you tell how close to the center of vertical/elevation turret adjustment the crosshair zero is at 100 yards? (Number on the turret?)Put one on my Clark 10/22 with a 30 MOA rail and sighted it in for 100 today.
Definitely with 30 MOA rail over 20 MOA.Should be able to reach way out there.I'll try and play at longer ranges tomorrow.
Those really are our two best options, better ammo or bigger targets. Well, or get closer. Bigger targets are cheaper. It's not sub moa ammo but that's why my small plate today is 1 3/4"
Got mine yesterday via Fedex (no USPS). He even rang the door bell!!!D.....IT. Now I have bought one also.

You sure you weren’t putting together a bbq grill? The manual is poor
Link to Serac manual is not readily available from the webpages but downloadable from Viridian Optics site - https://viridianoptics.com/pub/media/wysiwyg/pearl_theme/serac_manual.pdfwebsite does not have a manual for this model.
While manual does not address zeroing of turret, once crosshair/elevation is zeroed, loosen hex head bolt with Allen/hex wrench and lift off turret cap. Align "0" with white dot and tighten hex head bolt.confused me as to why I had received an Allen wrench ... figure out the zeroing of the turrets
FYI at 50 yards, using Ruger factory picatinny rail I was maxed out on Viridian Serac vertical/elevation turret adjustment and was using reticle lines for holdover and EGW 20 MOA rail put the crosshair back to center of vertical/elevation turret adjustment.
RPRs have a...20moa rail? I cant remember, couldnt zero my 17 so i went to a straight rail.I swiped out my Vortex on my Ruger PRF 22LR for the Viridian 6-24x50. Went to the range yesterday to zero it. I ran out of elevation at 50 yards. ***.....!!!!!

I'd think maybe because there discontinued?I sent mine in a week ago for replacement and instead of sending me a new scope they refunded my money. Oh well, guess I'll be doing without the Viridian. Shame because I liked it when I got it other than the fact that it didn't adjust for windage or elevation.

In April, I contacted Viridian Weapon Technologies/Viridian Optics customer service to ask how the discontinued/closed out Serac 6-24x50 model will be warranty supported. When I talked to customer service, they said Serac 6-24x50 models will be replaced with units set aside for warranty replacement and when replacement units are exhausted, they will be replaced with comparable current units.I'd think maybe because there discontinued?I sent mine in a week ago for replacement and instead of sending me a new scope they refunded my money.
Consistent 1" low of bullseye, adjustment maxed out. Shooting ELEY subsonic hollow point. Ordered a "ZERO" MOA Rail, won't be here, until next week.
My 10/22 would max out vertical/elevation turret adjustment at 50 yards with Vortex Crossfire II 6-24x50 and 40 MOA turret adjustment similar to turret adjustment of Viridian Serac - https://vortexoptics.com/crossfire-ii-6-24x50-ao-dead-hold-bdc-moa.htmlYou couldn't zero a 50 yard target, still shooting low?I swiped out my Vortex on my Ruger PRF 22LR for the Viridian 6-24x50. Went to the range yesterday to zero it. I ran out of elevation at 50 yards. ***.....!!!!!
FWIW, 10/22 can suffer from "barrel droop" issue that lowers POI, even at 50 yards - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...z-tax-refund-sale.929399/page-4#post-12879893Just removed scope and reset to optical zero, using the mirror method. The rail says, 30 MOA. Now what, is the ring mount the problem? I will only be shooting this rifle at 100 yards, max.
