I think it may get low key mental health credits, probably not quite physical therapy....That way trumps the 1 1/2 hours I spent in physical therapy this morning........

These are the ones I processed entirely on the Lee Hand Press.
Oooohhh. I’m the wrong person to ask. I have all of the above and a couple of mix matched sets I put together from odds and ends bought over the years one die at a time. That's some fine hand pressing. Just curious. Do you typically use 3 or 4 die sets with your hand press? I'm going with 3 die sets for the range, all Lee Breech Lock carbide for quick change at the range. I just realized that these are the first dies I have purchased since.... 1998 ish? I feel like a noob!
And then lists 19 handgun cartridges and 13 rifle… lolI don’t reload for a whole lot
Fifteen years ago the list was double that. And then lists 19 handgun cartridges and 13 rifle… lol
I just did some checking on my logs stored on my bench. My built 308 has had 21 factory rounds down the pipe. The rest of the 230sometying are all crafted by me…

And that’s not just for .38/.357. Most of my die sets are mixed manufacturers. I don’t reload for a whole lot though. Not anymore.

I have a MEC 600Jr but I have only used it once to see if I fixed it right. I made four rounds and they all went bang.
Yeah. I’m kind of an eccentric in that regard.Yikes! Well that answers that. I am going a bit different in that I am keeping the Hand Press kit totally separate from anything else, including the dies. Bench dies stay on the bench, hand press dies go in the range kit. I want to fit everything in one range bag and be certain that when I get to the range, I know what I have in the kit. Currently, I only load for 9mm, 45c, 45 auto and 38/357. I have dies for more, but purged most of my firearms in the early 2ks, so I'm rebuilding.
I figure with the hand press, I'll just start off with 45c this weekend, then add 38/357 in a month. Then keep adding a set once a month for 9mm, 40 S&W and who knows what else. It depends on what caliber strikes my fancy as time goes on. I can not seem to stick to one caliber. Although at present, 45 Colt has my attention big time.
If you were gonna pick one, 45 Colt would get my vote!
I do the same thing. One of the complaints about a RCBS presses is about the primer catcher. I've haven't had this happen enough times to bother me, but it does occasionally happen. A makeshift "sideboard" cut from heavy paper helps a lot!The primers are probably bouncing of the base of the bowl. Cut a piece of light cardboard (cereal box) into a half pie shape and staple/tape to the bowls rear rim. Should solve the problem.
I'm really liking those new style boxes with the hinges compared to the older style!Ready for priming and loading.

There is a replacement aftermarket catcher I saw on YT for Rock Chuckers that plugs right in with a drop tube like the Lee presses have. Guy is making them with a 3D printer. Don't recall who did it but it looked pretty nifty. If I run across that video I'll post itYep. That idea certainly helps.View attachment 1207737
