Maybe they are that good and I didn't even realize it?I have to agree, I don't recall ever laying eyes on one. But the company appears to be "going strong". So I would guess there are a few around.
Has anyone tried "Sneaky Pete" holsters? My last thread concerned carrying in church. I can't help Sneaky Pete offers one with a cross on it. Hey my wife likes it!
I've carried a small 22 in my cellphone holder. It worked out fairly well, but I really need it for my phone.I have seen people carrying a cell phone in a similar looking case on their belt. But the Sneaky Pete is definitely bulkier. I guess unless someone was scrutinizing closely they wouldn't notice the difference.
I've heard that argument, and it makes sense. When I open carried, I felt that very few people noticed, what they did notice was that I was 6'5" and 340 lbs. For me, I never felt that open carrying made me more of a target. To each his own, but I personally don't care much about Open Carry. It's like waving a flag and saying "Hey, just shoot me first". A Sneaky Pete holster would be sort of like "waving the flag". What good are you to anyone if a "shooter" walks up behind you and puts a bullet in the back of your head and takes you out first? Why wear a Bullseye on you back?
There comes a time in an older man's life when he just doesn't care what others think and their days of looking "cool" are over so why even try. I think it's called Geezer Paradox. But I think it hits some way earlier than others, judging by their lack of fashion. If they knew how ridiculous they look they could take a little more pride in their appearance.Or maybe they never will get it and never were actually cool but to themselves. The only Sneaky I've seen was on a Big Belly Hanging Old Toot who was wearing a tight form fitting Black T shirt (yuk) with a giant Glock Perfection logo on the front. Oh well.
Not for me. OWB holster and a floppy shirt over it. IWB hurts my hip.
