Is the Ruger Vaquero the only fixed sight Colt Single Action clone in current production that is stainless instead of nickel?

I know the Vaquero has a transfer bar and not a true 3 click clone but I do prefer that. I know the original Colts were nickel also but I prefer stainless.

Thanks

I had a stainless steel Beretta Stampede that I bought 5 years ago, think they are still making them.

How did you like the Beretta? I am a big fan of their semi autos but do not know much about their revolvers

TennJed, I didnt shoot more then 300 rounds out of before I traded it to a friend. Now i had zero problems out of it for those 300 shots and it was an accurate pistol. I would have held on to it but I enjoy shooting my Bisley Vaquero more and my bud made me a good offer for it.

Quite a few now from the various replica makers. Colt even catalogs a stainless SAA but to my knowledge has yet to produce one.

Isn't it 4 clicks?
Sometimes it's three, sometimes it's four. Sometimes two of them, the cylinder locking onto the bolt and the hammer hitting the full cock notch, are simultaneous.

How about the Freedom Arms model 83? They have a fixed sight model.

Thanks for all the help guys. I didn't realize there were this many options. Most I see while browsing online or locally are nickel.

I was not aware FA made a fixed sight. That would be perfect (although expensive)

CraigC you are a walking encyclopedia of single actions. Thanks

I bought the Ruger New Vaquero and had a smith put back 3 clicks and did a trigger job on it. 'Best of both worlds since it has 6-up.

The New Vaquero in .357 is hands down my favorite gun to shoot, ever. They are priced right and so plentiful you can actually bargain hunt. It also doesn't hurt that they look great and stand up to a fair amount of abuse. Here's my first of hopefully many more SA's...

Aah. The Great arguement of the "clicks". I hate "clicks"....Oh...You mean the number of clicks in a REAL Colt SAA...4 (FOUR). One: The [so called] saftey click. Two: Half cock click. Three: The bolt making contact with the cylinder click. Four: Full cock click.

Technically, there can be as many as five if you cock it slow enough, depending on how the sixgun is timed.

1. Safety notch

2. Half cock notch

3. Bolt rising into the leede

4. Cylinder locking into the bolt

5. Full cock notch

But as I said, three times now, sometimes there is as few as three audible clicks when cocking normally. But what do I know, I only have 21 of them.
