I don't know if any data exist on this issue, but if the US has a higher percentage of psychopaths than other countries, then it stands to reason that we would have a higher murder rate, including a higher rate of mass killing, regardless of whether guns are available or not.
If we do have a higher percentage of psychopaths, then one would wonder why that is true, but let's not get into why at this point.
This topic might seem only indirectly gun related, but if we do have a higher rate of such people, then that ties to the murder rate, which fuels the gun control discussion.
