I use the Bantam model. They are quite nice. They fit good and tight and fill up the hand better than the factory wood panels. The back is still open though, so not much for recoil cusioning.
I tried their plain Monogrip model too, before I got this one and wasnt too impressed. It had a weird screw tensioner on the bottom. Not just a friction fit like the one I have now. It was loose and hollow feeling.
Not sure if it is the same one you have there or not.
note: mine is a sqaure butt redhawk.

The grips I describe are only for the round butt grip Ruger. There is no tensioning screw.

25...45Colt and 50 45Auto rounds fired at the range today. Although the original grips are beautiful I’m a much better shooter with the Houge grips. That gos for my Blackhawk as well. For me it’s to do with recoil trigger guard conflict and my middle finger, Better overall recoil absorption’ and grip security.
