The total burglary rate including attempts is 3.6% in 1988. 4.2% in 1991. 4.0% in 1995. 2.9% in 1999. 3.5% in 2003/04. 1.3%* in 2010. The Canadian Victimization Survey has a burglary rate of 3.1% in 2014.
The United States burglary rate including attempts according to the International Victimization Survey was 5.6% in 1988. 3.9% in 1995. 3.3% in 1999. 5.1% or 5.2% in 2003/04.
The United States Criminal Victimization Survey for Burglary rate including attempts is 6.2% in 1988. 5.3% in 1991. 4.9% in 1995. 3.4% in 1999. 2.9% in 2003. 2.3% in 2010. 2.3% in 2014.
*1.3% is the only rate I could find. Burglary with entry rate. I could not find the rate of Burglary with attempts for 2010.
