I have that exact gun, including rear sight, carrying it at the moment. I use a speed strip as easier to carry concealed. I have the speed loaders but don't recall if they actually work well with this gun.SP101... 327 Fed Mag.... Hogue Monogrip....Good enough for me.

I didn't drill any holes, it used the holes for the adjustable rear sight...If you don't have that kinda sight...I don't know. Some great pics showing up guys!
Did you have to drill holes for that mount? I don't think I could do that to my SP.
Everyone needs at least one SP101.
Agree on the 327 Federal for this gun in 3". I sold off SP101 3" guns in 32 H&R and 357 along with the 4" 327 Federal. I still have 32 SWL and 32 H&R ammo in case my niece goes shooting with me again. I should add though that I stopped using full power loads after selling my Single Sevens. The carry load is subsonic 100 grain.I bought the gun probably around 2005 or so. It was a few years later that the .327 mag came out.
I really think the .327 magnum is the best cartridge for these little revolvers.
the option to shoot .32 acp, .32 S&W, .32 S&W Long, .32 H&R Magnum and .327 mag and also get an extra shot offers quite a bit of versatility. If they would only offer a shotshell cartridge in .327 mag I would be in for another SP101.
My 70 year old mom now keeps the .32 H&R Mag SP101 as her bedside gun. I keep it loaded with .32 S&W long 98 grain lead round nose. She is certainly very comfortable shooting the gun. It’s sized right for her hands, doesn’t kick much with the 3” barrel and is powerful enough and reliable enough with the .32 longs centerfire ignition.

How do you envision that even being possible?I still want Ruger to bring out the Sp101 in a 41 magnum
Why wouldn't it work its a pretty beefy revolver but I'm not a gun smith or maybe a 41 special would make it more of a woods walker / S/D revolverHow do you envision that even being possible?
You could be right for a 5 round 41 Special, but the frame is not likely to be rated adequate for magnum pressures. My 41 Special is a GP100, but that was big enough for 6 rounds. Before 41 Special happens at the manufacturer level, ammo manufacturers have to get involved with a commercial ammo offering. We saw that with 327 Federal Magnum, for example. At least Starline offers the brass. Why wouldn't it work its a pretty beefy revolver but I'm not a gun smith or maybe a 41 special would make it more of a woods walker / S/D revolver
Why yes...can't you see it? It's right there.Do you see the front sight at all
