Dont get me wrong, this is very cool and ingenious....but the 1860 loses alot of its cosmetic appeal (for me) without the rammer and I would be worried about frame and base pin longevity firing a steady diet of ACPs.
Nonetheless, as a mechanical achievement, it noteworthy and well executed. Cant wait for the range report.
I disagree. The 1860 Richards Type I and Type II conversions are some of the most aesthetically pleasing sixguns ever produced.Dont get me wrong, this is very cool and ingenious....but the 1860 loses alot of its cosmetic appeal (for me) without the rammer and I would be worried about frame and base pin longevity firing a steady diet of ACPs.

You know what I like!
minimul fitting. Only ✂ the loading porthow much fitting does one of these Kirst conversions require?
presumably not truly 'drop-in' ?
That would be, “…chantilly lace, a purty face, a ponytail hanging down…”
Kevin
“…she makes the world go round, round, round.”
Shoot and I WAS safe not wanting any of the existing cylinder conversions.

I used to sing Johnny Cash songs at the bar across from the dirt track in the 70's after racing too but he never claimed me!My wife says any day I do not get the words of a song wrong is a day the world might end.
Now it has been said Jerry Lee and Elvis were cousins….. well ancestry.com said Elvis was my fifth Cousin once removed so I must be a tiny bit kin to Jerry Lee as well!
ELVIS IS EVERY WHERE!
