I would use it! Only "improvement" I would make is some way to solidly fix the stand to the bench temporarily. (I use T-nuts on the underside of the bench and a 5/16-18 bolt through the stand. Works quite well).

One of the best things I have done is hang one of the double tube Harbor Freight LED shop light just above my my head when sitting at my reloading bench. I have no need for any spot lighting now.
I one turned a 223, 22-250 specific powder funnel from aluminum rod. It worked so well I decided to do the same for 357 and 44 mag cases. Not having anymore rod in a large enough diameter I used smaller that I had on hand for the neck portion and glued small stainless funnels I found on Amazon into the top to create a funnel. The funnels were MUCH cheaper than buying rod and I used a little goop for glue.

Beagling a mold to make the casting a little larger
take shim stock and slice a small strip off .[001-.005 thickness]
then wrap it around the bottom of 1 block of the mold to space the 2 blocks apart
makes the diameter a little larger then size to make it round again

It looks great to me! It's a 'real' powder drop stand as far as I can see. If it does the job cleanly and efficiently, why spend more money on a factory rig?
I 'discovered' two terrific tools for working with the new Lee Spline Breech Lock bushings that have the 3/32" hex screw. Both are available on Amazon and some hardware stores. The first is a 1/2" lock nut wrench, the second an easy-to-hold and use 3/32 hex head screwdriver. Affordably priced and they work great.

Don’t laugh. Made a “bin damn” by laminating three pieces of card stock together while maintaining the bend while it dried. Trimmed it out in blue painters tape and slapped a sticker on it. . It was a rainy day and I didn’t feel like forking out $6.00 + shipping for just one. Came out very ridged
On one of the surplus sites, I bought a stainless steel serving tray. I use it on my loading bench under my powder measure and Press and when the powder gets spilled, it is easy to use a 3" wide paint brush and make a pile and pour it back into the bottle after my reloading process. I have a 1/4" steel plate screwed to my bench and drilled and tapped for my press bolts and powder measure bolts. Makes cleanup a breeze. After I put everything away I use my small shop vac, without bag. just a filter on motor. I have made stands for my 5-10 scale, Lee primer tool with leaded bottom for weight. I also use drill press with primer pocket brush to clean primer pockets. I use an anti static wipe and wipe down all my equipment before reloading. I cut up used dryer sheets for my RCBS Tumbler cleaner which also keeps down the dust & static from the media and just throw away after use.

I didn't invent it, but I made this .30 caliber gas check maker out of bolts from a hardware store and on an old Atlas lathe my Dad gave me. (I'm not a machinist either).

Machined a little adapter that allows me to set a gas check on my cast 44 mags before sizing (yes, this one is sized) let’s me get the gas check nice and square to the bullet. Lubrisizer tends to build up lube between g/c and ram which causes less than desirable results.

People are happy to give away ammo when Grandpa passes on, and they have to clean out his closets....I have so much ammo I don't know what to do with it. Some of it dates back to the 1940s.

I use the shot and powder funnel for my MEC bottles to put powder back into their bottles.
