The first thing we do, let's sic Shakespearean actors on all the lawyers. Full force iambic pentameter rebuttals, no mercy.
Plus, who calls the SFAR the “sfar” like “scar”?? I don’t and wouldn’t. It would be the “S-F-A-R”. As in AR-10. You don’t call it the “are ten”
FN’s attorneys must be bored
One thing’s for certain, the publicity for Ruger will be amazing! Can’t even buy marketing like this!
I don't think the DoD is buying anymore SCARs. Maybe that is part of the reason FN is lashing out at folks.Like FN is concerned that the DoD will get them confused, and order from Ruger.
Stupid, but not that stupid.
Twins! May god have mercy on your soul. We have a set. They’re 24 now. Doesn’t get any easierWait, it’s not “Esse-‘far”?
I dislike spelling things, the twins are two now and we are having to start spelling “naps” and “bath”.
(Otherwise they get started without me!)
Or NOSCAR. That would be a safe bet because that would cause no brand confusion. The worst case is Ruger just changes the name to SOFAR or something
Base the shoulder stock off of a UGG boot and prominently feature it in FDE in advertising.Or NOSCAR. That would be a safe bet.
Or better yet, in SCARletBase the shoulder stock off of a UGG boot and prominently feature it in FDE in advertising.
Geez...where have we seen and heard THAT before!!! Truer words were never spoken. The only winners with this will be the lawyers for both companies.
Plus, who calls the SFAR the “sfar” like “scar”?? I don’t and wouldn’t. It would be the “S-F-A-R”. As in AR-10. You don’t call it the “are ten”

FN should be groveling at the feet of Ruger, Palmetto, KelTec and S&W for saving the 5.7 from obscurity.I imagine FN has been holding a grudge against Ruger ever since they came out with a much more competitive priced 5.7.
There's a link toward the bottom of the OP.I would actually like to read the filing.
How about Rugers blatant LCP copy of the Keltec version? The AR as an example...1911's too, they are not alone though. Not a very exclusive group.
FN is producing the High Power. They brought it back a couple of years ago.If FN was worried about financial loss from some imagined confusion between the two, they could more than offset it by bringing back the Hi Power.
