A good friend and I were talking and he had a Blackhawk 10mm/.40 S&W he thought abought getting a 38-40 cylinder for... he remembered I have 10mm auto's and somewhere along the lines we were talking of ruger mk II's and he wanted to trade for my 5.5 bull barreled stainless- which my first MK II and I like too much to trade..... a week or so later he says he would trade for my 6.5 standard stainless mk II- I had gotten that back when face book had buy sell n trades before they decided it was bad. I like it but am considering it. I know n he knows he is getting the short end of the trade- he has done that several times to me n others over the years- usually adding to the trade until I can not say no- even telling him it would be cheaper to buy outright.... I am newish to the black hawk game- like the last to years other than a vaquero .44 I got many years ago to try cowboy action shootin. I have acquired a few .44 mag supers n a few .45 colts all in blue.
The 10 mil might be ok since I load- or can load 10mm or 40 S&W - not a premium round for the blckhawk. It will be the 5.5 or 6.5 inch- I am not sure which even though he said its 5.5- I have not seen it yet.
I guess the real holdback is me buyng or trading into anything with the prices of powder n primers etc... n I really do not need ANY additional guns - I just seem to WANT them
