Muuuuch better! The pitting was too deep to draw-file down, it would’ve left an obvious divot. It also would’ve been tough to blend the edge and then blue without having to blue the whole gun again. Knowing this, I asked for it to be smoothed as much as possible and reblued to arrest the rusting.
