    There comes a time in life when one knows to start letting go of favorite possessions. If your younger, it may be girlfriends. Older, your firearms.

    Going on 50 years and north of 60,000 shots fired without issue. Actually never heard of the problem. I do have a Barstow SS barrel.

    870 Wingmaster Modified for HomeDefense

    Ten years ago I took my old 870 2 3/4, with a skeet barrel, and removed the plug. Added a side saddle for more 00. So I agree.
