Chris, I was guilty of not ever going to the front page and reading the "news" I went straight to page 7b.
Thanks so much for taking the time to help me out. It was great talking to you and I consider a donation not only to you currently but to the memory of Steve and all his hard work...
Like the others, I usually just wait for their sales and have no problem waiting for them to ship, but that's because of prior experience. As far as them being the same company, I always thought they were. I also have great experiences with their customer service folks. They've taken care of...
From my experience I'd recommend the HKUSP 40. If I'm not mistaken, it was built from the ground up for this round. It's never let me down, Pretty accurate and built like a tank IMO. I've also fired the Glock 22. I don't see a reason why either one wouldn't be a bad choice.
I've got the Hornady Auto Charge, I picked up the Brass Mod (ebay) and rarely have issues with any powder. I've used it on Varget and with W231. Maybe 1 out of 20 will be an overthrow? I measured my tube and he sent me one that worked great. And Hornady does have more adjustments available...
I had one of the RCBS... It worked fine... I think 4.8 is pretty good overall. I'm using the Lee Bench Prime, and have had no issues with it. It has a nice feedback to it when you are using it.
My Nightstand gun is a HK USP 40, it just works. Always has and have never had any kind of failures with it. I don't shoot it as often as my 9's but it also isn't finicky about any ammo. Reloading for it has been super simple, though I check every round through my chamber checker.
Luckily, it's still available around here. I'm stocked up pretty good, and with the accuracy I'm getting out of it in 9mm I'd hate to lose my stash of it.
That's me! I think I bought some .45 Colt from Freedom Munitions, but it's still sitting there. I just bought the Starline brass and reuse it. Most of the revolver loads aren't found at the range like I can for auto's. Those I get all the time. Rifle is pretty much the same, I buy some...
Personally I use Louvered panels for them on a wall, for my brass I use the wall mounts that Inline Fabrication makes. They slip in perfectly and I can stack them on top too. I use those not on a wall but on the bench front support.
I've had my Hornady for over a year now. The auto charge is working great, and with the addition of a little tube dispenser for it, is even better with certain problem powders. If you just mess with the settings to tune it, it'll work great. Videos are available from Hornady.
Paul, always enjoy your feedback, can't wait to see what you come up with next as a Bullseye "replacement". Personally BE-86 has worked fantastic in my 9mm loads (124gr bullet) and even at comfortable 357mag loads. What I'm most impressed at is the accuracy I've been able to achieve with it...
Dan, is fantastic. His customer service is incredible, questions or issues and he resolves them. I use his products in all my setups. Love his case kickers!
