    PPS 9mm versus LC9?

Thanks for the replies. Well, I got a very good deal on a new LC9 so I went that route instead. The trigger is very smooth though it is indeed long. Plan to hit tge range very soon. Todd

    PPS 9mm versus LC9?

Is the PPS worth an extra $200 over tge LC9? I don't like external safeties like on the LC9 but I suppose I could leave it off. Thoughts? Todd

I would not be effective without a scope. I have never been good with open sight, having been raised on scopes on everything except shotguns. But, with my eyesight the way it is these days a scope is a must for me anyway. It in NO way takes away from the gun or makes it feel odd. Todd

Need 7mm-08 ballistics info. 60 yard sight in?

I had to sight my 7-08 in at 60 yards. I'm shooting 140 grain Cor Lokt. At 60 yards I'm shooting 1.5 inches high. What should I expect at 100 and 200 yards at this sight in? Todd

    S&W M&P Shield is a keeper!

Having both, while I agree the 9c is a great gun, and probably my favorite, the Shield is lighter and thinner, so it's just a little more comfortable. I carry the 9c some days still, but the Shield is an easy gun to enjoy carrying. Todd Sent via Todd's IPhone using Tapatalk.

    The 336 Club

I have a standard 336 in 30-30 bought from Walmart a couple of years ago. It is an exceptional gun and probably my favorite hunting rifle. I have killed many wild hogs with it. I bought an AR for carrying with me to the deer lease when riding on the Ranger, just in case I run across a group...

    Walmart AR's and mini 14

A POS is a POS and once it leaves Walmart it is no longer a WalMart gun, it's just a gun. I doubt many manufacturers would want people buying crappy guns from them just because the seller is WalMart. If I buy a Remington from WalMart and the gun won't cycle, I'm going to be on here complaining...

    M&P 9mm Shield Video Review

Thanks for the review! I just put a few rounds through the Shield yesterday and it shot great for the limited time I had to shoot it. I think it will make an excellent carry piece. Todd Sent via Todd's IPhone using Tapatalk.

    S&W M&P Shield is a keeper!

Seems a little big for pocket carry to me, but then I knew that going in. I don't pocket carry any guns, always IWB or OWB for me. The Kahr is nice but doesn't shoot as well as the Shield (at least to me) since the shield just fits my hands better. I like it and it is very comfortable to...

If You Could Have But ONE Handgun....

6 inch DA .357, either a 686 or a GP100 would be fine. Todd Sent via Todd's IPhone using Tapatalk.

A couple of rifle questions, for young daughter...

Thanks guys. The 243 is a Marlin XS7 for which I have a youth stock and an aftermarket adult stock from Boyd's. I am going to let her try the 243 this weekend at the hunting lease and see how it goes. I do not reload and generally don't trust shooting someone else's reloads so I stick to...

A couple of rifle questions, for young daughter...

Sorry for the typo in the title... This is in regard to my daughter, who is 10 years old and medium framed. We already have a 243 but it's a little too much for her to handle without develoiping a flinch at this time. Maybe next year... I am looking at a Weatherby Vanguard in .223 for my...
