My wife hated the Undercover .38 I had. I loved it. She does love the LCR however.

    Hi Point Carbine

Love mine. I bought it used 12 years ago from a pawn shop for $70. Never had any issues in the happy years that followed. Not sure how many rounds put through it. Thousands. I used to have more money for ammo back then and bought 9mm by the thousands. I'd love a 45, but money's too tight.

    Scope bases not level...

The front sight is level with the bore. The rear sight is the issue. It appears to be factory drilled and tapped. I may be the first to try and mount a scope on it, which is why it was never noticed before. I'm going to try a one piece base as that should keep at least the base level, then see...

    Scope bases not level...

So the Savage 99F I recently got came with two weaver 19 bases on it(a front base in the front and rear). So I picked up a weaver 14 base and installed it at the rear. It didn't look right, so I pulled out a level. Sure enough, the rear mount is angled up instead of level. Any suggestions? My...

    Savage 99 club...

Just rescued this 99F in .300 from a kid that didn't know what he was doing. Got it for $150 because he couldn't get a scope mounted(put a weaver 19 front and rear:eek:) I found that the rotary mag isn't as difficult to disassemble and clean as some make it out to be.

    campfires and guns

Gun? Always have one. But it does feel nice to relax around the campfire knowing I am prepared and protected. Without it, something's feels missing.

    Walther PP .32

Any idea as to what it's value might be? I know it's hard to do without pics, but even a range of values is better than what I have(which is nothing). I think the guy really wants to sell it.

Is cost a major factor for you when buying SD pistol?

Yes. I want to buy the best SD pistol for my money. I refuse to spend more than what I actually need. Quality doesn't cost that much nowadays. For $500 you can have a nice Compact and $300 more a backup. I'd rather those two(whatever you pick) than one $800 pistol. Someday, the $800, or...

    Walther PP .32

So I' looking at a Walther PP .32. It says Walther on the grips, the slide and frame serials do not match, and the slide left side does not have any info(no markings). The only markings are on the right side, and those markings are the mismatched serial numbers. The owner claims it is a late...

What is the last gun that you bought?

Originally, I offered to buy it, but he wanted to trade because he knew I had .22lr ammo. He wanted 2 boxes, but I told him 3. It is missing the spring gate screw. Ordered for $3 plus $5 shipping. The going rate for bulk .22 round these parts is $65-75 a brick.

    Just got a new tumbler.

Works great. It sits on the bench in the room belly my bedroom. I can barely hear it. Nice and quiet(compared to my buddies' rcbs and Lyman). Doesn't move, and after an hour, the brass looks great!

    Just got a new tumbler.

The Berrys is what I was looking at getting. But I can't pass up on free. Dad used it for cleaning coins before giving it to me. Not sure why the pic is sideways. I think it's an iPhone thing.

So my dad just gave me a tumbler he never uses. It's a Nova 251 HT. working great so far. Anyone ever used one?

What is the last gun that you bought?

Just traded three 500 count bricks of Blazer .22 lr ammo for a circa '92? Win M1894 Ranger .30-30 with a missing $3 screw.
