    Gamo Swarm it's a keeper!

The magazine is a rotary style like a lot of the PCP guns use and is very user friendly. I believe a person can load one at a time like a normal break barrel without the use of the magazine.

    Coal variance question.

Hi everyone, I have a question about a shifting over all length of my reloads. I am frustrated because I don't understand what is causing it to change. I am loading .40 with 180 GRN Xtreme plated rnfp. My press is a Hornady LNL AP using RCBS carbide dies. Basically I will be loading rounds...

    Gamo Swarm it's a keeper!

If your thinking about a new break barrel I recommend the Gamo Swarm. It's accurate and super fun to shoot. The auto pellet feed holds ten rounds. The scope that comes with the gun is just OK but the rifle is light and shoots great. Hitting a 3"x7" gong at 105 yards is no problem shot after...

    Where to buy pf9?

PF9's are fine. They are reliable and the slide's will rust if you don't oil them regularly. That being said the Shields are nice pistols as well. Either will work fine. If you want a PF9 order one off of Gun Broker and have it sent to your local FFL.

WA AG seeks legislation to ban assault weapons

Seattle IS the problem. WA is more culturally divided East to West of the Cascades than Northern California "Jefferson State" to Southern California.

Are revolvers inherently more reliable than semi-autos?

Only time I have had a failure with a revolver other than a bad primer was when a bullet came unseated from recoil and locked the cylinder up tight. The gun was inoperable. If I had to chose between an semi that was not maintained or a revolver that was not maintained I would go with the...

    7.62x25 Tokarev

I shot around 500 rounds out of the Yugo version m57 this last weekend. It was a lot of fun , I recommend the M 57 for 7.62X25. The trigger pull is heavy but crisp after a little creep. Cheap gun and still fun.

How many rounds will a CZ EVO 3 last?

Wil, Thanks for your questions. To keep it short the last pistol I sent back to the manufacturer for excessive wear due to shooting was a M and P that had 53 boxes of 180 grn rnfp of xtreme copper plated through it. I have also had issues with Walther slides wearing heavily around the...

How many rounds will a CZ EVO 3 last?

Ohen, I will email CZ and see what they say. The Scorpion looks to have a metal following rod that extends to the rear of the bolt but I can't really tell what keeps the bolt centered and keeps the bolt from twisting in the housing. It is an interesting design for sure , and really...

How many rounds will a CZ EVO 3 last?

The question was not really meant too be a cost comparison of ammo vs pistol life, rather pistol life vs availability. No function problems to speak of so far, but the large mass of the bolt makes me wonder as to how long the CZ may be trouble free. "Hopefully forever" I can't really...

How many rounds will a CZ EVO 3 last?

Curious how many rounds a CZ Evo 3 will last? Seems pretty cool I just wonder if they are built durable? Do you think someone could get 50,000 rounds through one without a major overhaul of the gun?

Kel Tec gen2 2000 as fun as it looks?

Not as fun as they look for me. The best feature in my mind is it folding into a shorter profile, and SBR length bull pup without the tax stamp is cool. Never had reliability issues with one. But they are not that fun to shoot either. The charging handle under the cheek weld area also is...

Massachusetts Sneak Legal Attack on Gun Owners and Dealers

Oh boy, It seems the AG has really thought this one through. She leaves a lot of grey areas. It would be hard to interpret the specifics but not her intent. Condolences to all who reside in Massachusetts.

    Combat Shotguns: Dying?

The downside to shotguns vs metal cartridge guns for home defense are the shotgun hulls if kept in a box magazine after a while, 6 months or so will start to deform and lose their round shape from being compressed. I would like to see a squirrel make it through a buckshot round. I...

    Daniel Defense DDM4300S

Dang, I like that side charging upper. I wish I would have known before I bought my 300's. I hate the rear charging handle. My .300's suppressed work for about 150 rounds then they choke and die until cleaned fwiw. Not really impressed with them. I also use leather heads but in the 220 grain...
