so I just bought this. What's the next step in completing an AK? I'm looking to go as quickly & inexpensively as possible......ideally. Please educate me
And now I'm installing a YHM rail type gas block. Small problem. The gas block roll pin (and the roll pin hole in the gas block tube) are smaller than the hole in the YHM gas block.
Any suggestions?
S&W's dedicated .22lR AR.
Some are advertised with "threaded barrel".
Don't they ALL have threaded barrels? All someone really needs to do is unscrew the muzzle brake and thread on a suppressor to any model of this rifle, right?
I'm in the market for a nice dependable all purpose wingshooting shotgun. Doves, ducks, maybe quail again one day. My budget? 1200.00 max probably.
I just want a shotgun that handles well, is fairly light. Not particular as to what style. Over and under, semi-auto, whatever.
Suggestions or...
Actually I already have the suppressor.
The question I have is whether I can simply unscrew the brake from the rifle and screw the suppressor on?
I realize I may have to add a couple of washers to the barrel to compensate for the extra thread length on the barrel.
Anyone have any...
Pull the pin outward?
Crap. Of course. Now I remember. Pull the pin outward....and the cover came right off.
I looked at several takedown videos on Youtube and none of them said anything about pulling outward on the pin. My fault though. Thanks

Is there a trick to taking this thing off?

You've absolutely done the right thing.
You stated very clearly your objections and carried through with your decision. I applaud you and others like you.
Of course you know, Skyline doesn't really serve chili. Please come to Texas and have some real chili.
I've visited some internet auction sites today. Prices for even for older hunting rifles and shotguns are insane right now.
Of course, if the hysteria lets off a little, I'm going to assume the prices will become more reasonable.
Right?
Found this on the Cato Institute's website. Surprisingly, it was originally written for "The Huffington Post", but regardles of where it comes from, it addresses questions that many of us have been asking for years.
Among others: What has inner city crime related "gun violence" to do with a...
I would advise anyone interested in 2nd Ammendment Rights to go to YouTube and watch this video of Susannah Hupp testifying to a congressional committee on gun violence on 2/2/2013.
She was invited as a "victim" of gun violence, but her testimony completely backfired on the anti-gun...
The lighter the firearm.......
the more you feel the recoil.
Try a Brooks A-Grip. it's a wrap for the pistol stock that really helps with controlling a lightweight pistol.
