"For you guys that are always losing your ejector when you disassemble, put a dab of the same grease used on your slide and frame, between the frame and the ejector. That will help it stay in place till you are ready to remove it ."
Not sure if I am wrong, I bought one of the P3ATs today and...
Oh my!!
I guess I can assume that all those members are Democrats, but even in Birmingham, Montgomery, Mobile and Huntsville I can't imagine there's much support for this.
I moved from Maryland 2 1/2 years ago to get away from this nonsense!
For the love of pete (do people say that anymore? ) down here in Alabama, compared to Maryland where I lived for 30+ years, even the "Democrats" don't fuss about gun laws.
It really is a different culture, though to be fair other than gun ownership/self defense in general...
"IIRC, SC does not require a permit to carry a gun in the glove box."
I recall the same from a trip in 2005. They don't recognize an Alabama CCW, but I did have a pistol in the console. I was glad I didn't have to prove this, though I got the info from Packing.org.
God bless the South... this wouldn't even be a topic of conversation (absolutely forbidden) where I was born and raised (Maryland).. after 2 years in Alabama I am so used to the (liberal!) gun laws here I find it odd to worry about carrying a gun in a car.
I wish much luck to the folks back...
"the grips are worth about $150 if you can find them."
Holy smokes! I paid $200 for a 1917 last year with original grips! (Though it had been chromed).
In Jefferson County, its says:
"WARNING: State and Federal laws strictly regulate the possession of firearms in certain areas that include schools, federal, state, county and city buildings, and air terminals".
So I shot my new Hawken rifle, used Bore Butter and swabbed it out after every three shots to help with fouling, and I still ended up running scalding hot water down the barrell for two hours and it STILL wasn't 100% clean.
Is it supposed to be like that, in that I mean not 100% clean...
Thats funny - 3 years ago my GFs father (now my wife) gave me an 870 Wingmaster 20 ga. w/a 28" barrel.
I don't shoot it much but its a treasured gift.
Just a week ago he took me turkey hunting for the first time (not with the Wingmaster!)
Mr. Monk-
I live in a little section of Hoover called Bluff Park, and its right near 31 and 65. I've tried both and definately prefer 31. In fairness, I can take backroads (Shades Crest Rd) that put me on 31 halfway to downtown.
I guess you just have to try both 31 and 65.
If I ever...
