The length of the bullets can be different so depending on load length there could be more of the bullet in the case changing case capacity. This can also effect the load amount.
I have thought about doing the same. What is the wait time now? Are you having the mount cut in front of the rear sight or having the rear sight removed and using the notch built into the 507
Thanks, I talked to CGW yesterday they are 3-4 months out on getting it done. I am just concerned if the small window size will be a problem seeing the dot and the smaller sight picture.
I am thinking of putting a MRD on my PCR. The holosun 407k fits the size of the slide good but has a pretty small window. For anyone that has used one are there any down fall to using one compared to a 407c or a Vortex Venom that have a bigger window which are the other ones I am considering.
At Olin corp. in the primer shacks they have anti static floors, the workers wear anti static shoes and once they get the mix into the mixer they leave and do the mixing by remote control watching it by camera. When they transport the primers thru the plant red lights flash and all traffic...
I occasionally lose a primer to the floor but it is usually because I got sloppy with with how I was using it. If its set up correct and you're having problems it's probably operator error not the equipment.
You have to be 21 in IL. to have a hand gun or ammunition for a handgun. It has been like that for a long time. I THINK they changed long guns to 21 a year or two ago also
I had a similar issue. I sent my trigger parts off to have them worked on to lighten the trigger pull. Mine would multi fire when I would slowly release the trigger to reset it. I messed with it a little but couldn't fix it so sent it back and had them redo it or maybe they gave me a different...
Not sure there is such a thing as to cautious. I use a turret press so I finish each round as I go. I check powder weight and aol about every 20 and look in every case as I go. If the length that you have set plunks ok you shouldn't have to recheck everyone. Do what makes you comfy, better to be...
The East Alton Il. plant makes primers. They also have shot towers for making lead shot, the brass mill is there where they make brass and they have different buildings for loading different kinds of ammo.I'm not sure what they still do there now because they have been moving some ammo...
If they are moving production but leaving corp. where it is aren't they still paying the high taxes in the corp. state. Sounds like they are just trying to save on the cheaper labor
When I set the screw on the drum I take the hopper off so I can see if the drum is lining up with the hole. If it's to tight the drum won't rotate all the way back, if it's to loose it will go past a little. How hard you let the handle come up can effect it also
