Joined the CGW wait list

Made arrangements at Cajun Gun Works to have an RMR mounted on my CZ 75D PCR Compact.
Joining the 21st century I guess. Having some problems with clearly seeing the Iron sights, so I hope this will help. CGW says that their installation of the Holosun HS507K places it low enough to co-witness with the (tritium) iron sights which sounds great to me. My only worry was being able to pick up the wiggling and wriggling red dot in the screen. If the irons are visible, I'll be OK.
A nice upgrade to (IMHO) a very good pistol.

I have thought about doing the same. What is the wait time now? Are you having the mount cut in front of the rear sight or having the rear sight removed and using the notch built into the 507

CGW does nice work. I'm sure you'll be pleased with the results. I have a 507K on one gun, and like it a lot.

CGW told me that the waiting list is about 7 weeks for the request to send in my slide. Then 7 more weeks to have the machining done & RMR mounted.
The rear sight remains unmolested or so they say.

Yes, CGW can mill the dot without removing the stock rear.
IMO, having a S&W shield with the K model, lower 1/3 sights are superior. Co-witntessed sights would block a lot of the viewing window.

I would also go green vs red.
