    357 magnum for my wife

I don't have pictures, BUT I can tell you what I (53 yr. old female ) have. My favorite .357 is the previously mentioned model 65 LS. Great shooting gun! I also have a model 60LS. It is great for carrying, but not too much fun to shoot .357's from. My absolute favorite revolver to shoot...

    New toy

"I take the magnum cases, and download to .44 Special target ammo; which makes it feel like a big .38 Special. I enjoy shooting "BIG BERTHA" so much, it makes every trip to the range with me. Enjoy`" Thanks! I have a S&W LadySmith model 65 whose name is Bertha!

    New toy

Yep, she is, Clown. I taught her to shoot about 2 years ago, and one of our favorite things to do is go to the range. My sons fuss because we won't let them go...we call it our "girly outing". She is 40 & self-employed, too!

    New toy

My hubby gave me a S&W model 629 for Christmas. I got to the range Saturday to try her out....wow! She has a 6 inch barrel---I need to find some way to carry her. AND I need to come up with a name for her. My sister "stole" the perfect name--"Dirty Harriet". Becky

    Do your kids play "guns?"

I have 3 sons, 3 years apart. When the youngest was about 6 months old, I could put him in a stroller and put it out on the patio where I could see him easily and he could see his 3 1/2 year old brother. The "baby" would watch his big brother shoot cap guns for a L-O-N-G time while I sat and...

    I'm in love!

My sister and I went to the range today. A fellow there was admiring my model 65 LadySmith, and I let him shoot it. Then he offered to let me shoot his 629. It was the 1st time I had ever shot a .44 magnum, and now I want one. I've shot various .45 acps, and enjoyed it, but not enough to want...

    Smallest/Lightest .38/.357?

I have a model 60 LS. Weight is 20 oz. unloaded. I make it a practice to shoot a few 357's from it in range practice, as I use it as my carry gun, most often. I don't think I could stand shooting .357's from anything lighter than that. But then, I am a girl!:D Becky

    Anybody own a S&W 65LS??

I have a Model 65LS, and I really, really, really like it. It shoots great!

What gun were you the most disappointed with???

disappointed with... ...and sold Beretta Tomcat. Recoil was too "snappy", didn't like the grips, didn't like the trigger pull on the 1st shot. Sold it after owning it only 5 months and bought a S&W Model 65 LadySmith that is probably my favorite shooting handgun. Becky

The S&W roach motel claims another victim...

Wow! Nice gun! Please keep it up, Tamara. That way I can tell my hubby that there IS another woman out there with as bad or worse addiction than mine. Becky

    Escaping from L.A.

Welcome to God's Country! The Carolinas, that is. I live just down I-85 from Charlotte, about 1 1/4 hours away, in Spartanburg, SC. Decent indoor range in Belmont, NC just off I-85 and in Rock Hill, SC, which is just down I-77.

What handgun gets shot eveytime you go to the range?

My 22/45 Ruger & whatever my carry gun is at that time (varies)

    337 kit gun

FINALLY got to the range today I can't believe I had to wait this long! I really like this gun. The Hiviz front sight and the adjustable rear sight are very nice. These 50 year old eyes could acquire that bright orange front sight readily. I was surprised at the low recoil. I had expected...

    Alcoholics Sue Booze Companies

What fries me here in the good ole US of A is how alcoholics and drug addicts collect disability---and the "disabilty" is a direct result of the drinking or drugging. Someone I was acquainted with (a friend of a friend type thing) was told that if he did not stop drinking that he would likely...
