well got it back for the second time today... took it down to the basement, mounted it, turned it on... now all the day settings work properly, no swoosh rectical...BUT I noticed that the dimmest setting is not as dim as before...before to see the dimmest setting you needed almost total...

theken, did you check it out, and what is the date om manufacture on it?

Basicaly this is a heads up for anyone who owns an Eotech 557... I recently bought one with the 4x magnifier and was soooo excited to try it out...it works fine in regular mode BUT when in night vision mode the aiming dots are NOT crisp - they are more like semi-circular dashes or swooshes...

it is sturdy when fully extended...IMO it is more sturdy then the stock that comes on the gsg... yes, it does barily block the ejection port...at first i was going to modify this, but in the end i decided im not woried abou it...you could fix it with the proper tools by shortening the rails...

gun (475) nitro.vo handguars (100) (airsoft, but not made of ****ty pot metal, had to bend the tabs on the inside, but fits well, vertually no play. utg HK mount (20) good quality, works great... classic arm new style stock (55) had to do some sanding to get it to fit and it fits super...

got my GSG-5...took my chances and got some accessories that i did not know if they would work, they did, a few mods but nothing to hard... still waiting on my aimpoint and rail covers but she is pretty much done... also it shoot perfect, shot 400 rounds no missfires, very happy with it...

I actually have a nother one that is very nice as well...I am debating on weather or not to sell it...its a American Fork and Hoe...I love the history behing the companies like them...it shows how WW2 was also a war of production and how US companies like AFH that did not even produce millitary...

finaly was able to find a nice ww2 bayo that was in as good of shape as my garand, it matches very nicely... its a non cut PAL with m7 scabbard...has all its finish and basicaly perfect shape...

i know this post is VERY old but anyone know if this would work on walther P22 mags?
