Lancer Systems has come up with a new translucent mag and plans to release them at the shot show AND I was lucky enough to get to do some field testing on them.

When they arived my first impression was they look awesome and how nice it would be to have a visual on the rounds...but would they function???
After a lot of testing, WOW was I impressed, they have a lot of realy nice features like a rubber bottom, round count marks and they are VERY easy to take apart.
I took one and treated it like crap, threw it around, left it loaded outside for 3 weeks (in the crappy ohio weather) shot it with a BB gun, drove over it several times with my ATV, ect, ect (basical beat the **** out of it)...and it kept on working...never had one missfire, jam, nothing. They have a constant curve to them so I wondered if they would fit in standard mag holders, and yes, they do.
Ckeck out the link to see all the nice features these mags have, also the people at Lancer Systems are very very cool, and it was a pleaseure dealing with them, and NOT just because i got a few free mags, they realy were down to earth and fun to chat with.
Basicaly this was the first time I ever got to field test a product and it was fun, especually knowing I got to play with these and own a few of them before any of the general public.
Last I was not given a specific price, but from what I have heard they will be VERY reasonable.
