Best way to sell once used brass?

Ive got tons of 5.56, .30-06, .303 Brit, .45 ACP. and 9mm casing ive been saving over the years. Most of the 5.56 is Lake City. The .30-06 is all mid 50's surplus with a few newer federal casings. The .45 and 9mm are of varied manufacturers but all in good condition. I dont plan on reloading in...

Anyone built a filntlock or percussion cap pistol using a kit?

I am looking to build a flintlock or percussion cap pistol. Just wondering what the best kits are and which kit has the best wood quality. I just wonder if there is something better than Traditions. Any tips are appreciated.

Is it legal to sell ammo person to person or online in KS?

I have a bunch of 6.8 ammo I want to sell. Since most gun shops and retail stores wont buy ammo, I was wondering what other outlets I have. I googled it but cant find a straight answer. Also, if you sell online can you ship across state lines? I know usps doesn't ship ammo, but do fed ex or ups?

$80 for 100 rnds. sign of the times if that seemed like a good deal. There is just no plinking ammo in town here.

Bulk ammo from a local shop, mysterious dings and markings. Should I trust it?

Took the ammo back this morning. I showed the guy at the counter the rounds and he gave me a full refund and said he would notify management about the problem. @GCMkc, Ammo prices are about on par with what everyone else is charging these days. saw a sign for 1000 rnds of Tula 5.56 ammo for...

Bulk ammo from a local shop, mysterious dings and markings. Should I trust it?

Joeschmoe, to clarify, i do not reload. The reloading stuff is my fathers. I bought the ammo because it was affordable (which is hard to find these days) and wanted some stuff to plink around with without digging into my good ammo. I will take partial blame, i should have inspected the ammo...

Bulk ammo from a local shop, mysterious dings and markings. Should I trust it?

Ya, I am not expecting a refund. I do have reloading gear. Only goal for going back to the place is to point out their wrong doing and give them a chance to redeem themselves.

    ar 15 optics

I have an eotech 557 with 3x magnifier on my rock river. I have yet to find an AR(sans match grade) that hits true like mine does. Granted the set up makes my rifle quite a bit heavier than most (10lbs unloaded), however the accuracy pays off. Reliably hits 2inch groups at 100 yrds quickly. I...

Bulk ammo from a local shop, mysterious dings and markings. Should I trust it?

@ joeschmoe, that was my worry too. I have bought green tips before and they are usually pretty dirty and sometimes a bit dinged, but not like this and usually they are all from the same batch and have legit markings. If i were to pull them apart, what would i look for? the powder loaded? I do...

Bulk ammo from a local shop, mysterious dings and markings. Should I trust it?

I bought some "lake city 62 gr .223" rounds from a local shop. I had my doubts but decided to purchase anyway. Briefly looked at the rounds thru the plastic bag they came in before i bought them. When I got home I opened the bag to count them to make sure i didnt get shorted. I noticed the...

is it ok to shorten the buttstock then cover up the cut with a limbsaver?

I have a mossberg 590 12ga. The buttstock makes the length of pull on the thing just a bit uncomfortable. Ive looked into getting a youth stock (usually out of stock)or an adjustable stock but would rather not spend too much money. So, is it legal and safe to saw the buttstock down a few inches...

need advice on first black powder revolvers, have my eyes on a uberti 1861 navy.

Went with a pieta 1860 army .44 from cabelas. The gun felt solid and was a pretty decent price compared to uberti's. Hopefully I will get to take it to the range this weekend! Does any one know of a good video about loading and caring for these pistols? i read the manual, but still like to see...
