I had a strange parts failure on my 442 at the range yesterday. I was shooting when the cylinder release flew off the gun. I found the release, but not whatever part keeps it on the gun.
My 442 is less than a year old, so I requested a label from S&W; I presume they'll fix it on their dime...
Where are you wearing the IWB holster? Have you ever tried more than one?
You need to find one that works for you.
Have you tried the CompTac MTAC or Crossbreed Supertuck? IMO- They're two of the best IWBs on the market as far as comfort and concealability goes.
Weapon mounted lights are not replacements for a flashlight. Using a weapon mounted light as a flashlight breaks one of the basic rules of gun safety...
I voted for buying ammo for guns you own, but if you have surplus cash and want to stock up now, it might not be a bad idea. I just hope you don't end up like me, stuck with 1000 rounds of ammo for a gun that you don't own yet and won't be able to buy for a year or so...
I had them and hated them. Needless to say, they've been replaced by a standard 3 dot NS setup. I'm sure they work well for defense, but I just couldn't get used to the sight picture, not to mention that my duty gun has 3 dot sights on it.
