I had one for several years and recently sold it since it was a safe queen. Don’t think I put even 100 rounds through it. Nothing wrong with it…just wasn’t shooting it and interests have gone in other directions.
Agreed that it’s just an average trigger. And I found it’s recoil to be a...
At the risk of stating the obvious…if you can try some of the great recommendations above to see what feels/shoots best for you it will help make best choice. My bedside is a sig 320 with a streamlight light on it. Point of aim is right in the middle of the light pattern as it should be. I’ve...
LOTS of great comments here. I’ve only built 2, both from Anderson lowers and LPK’s. I did put a better trigger in the ‘range rifle’. I had help, too, from my son who is really gifted with all mechanical things. Great experience…please share yours when it’s done.
Just a couple thoughts to...
Smith and Wesson Trail Boss revolver in .44 mag. Beautiful pistol but painful to shoot even with gloves. Traded a Ruger super redhawk in .454 Casull for same reason. Found other big bores (anaconda) that worked much better for me.
A lot of great advice here! What helped me decide when I was trying to decide on one among several was how they shot for me. I had a 365, a 938 , a CZ P07 and a few others. All were highly reliable (most important). Some clearly had more capacity than others, e.g. the 365 vs 938…also...
Another fan of Tikka. My 25-06 is a tack driver and better than most of my other rifles. I agree, though, that the cartridge helps many shooters shoot their best. Another plus on the Tikka…pretty reasonable price compared to most others. If I was on a tight budget I’d look hard at the...
I’m very happy with my 5” PDP and have been looking at the compact for CC. I put a holosun red dot on it and it shoots great. One of the best non-1911 triggers I’ve experienced.
$450 is a great price. I think you’d be very happy with it.

Pretty partial to CZ’s these days. A toss up between the CZ75 and the shadow. And the P07 just hits where I aim so it goes out quite a bit too. Really like sig’s tac ops too but I’m more accurate with the CZ’s.
Would like to find a good 1911 9mm, and it would probably become my favorite...
Good for you triplebike. Had a similar situation with my son with a similarly surprising choice. With many to choose from, my son chose a Glock 19. He loved it because he shot it so well and it fits his hand well. It also, he said, reminds him of the times we went shooting together. I’m...
Looking for a carbine conversion so glock 40 can be fired as carbine. Anyone seen one? Comments on glock carbine kits generally...who makes the best ones? thanks,
