Received 2000 9mm and 1000 .40 bullets yesterday. They all fit in a flat rate box. Felt really bad for my small, female letter carrier. Didn't even think about it when ordering.
As soon as I turned 21 I picked up a 2 tone USP in 9 mm. Still one of my favorite pistols. Not sure if I like it because I shoot it so well or that it was the first of a lifetime of collecting?
My wife wanted to help so she joined the NRA for three years. I also threw some cash at the PVF. Also set up a shooting date with new shooters I met at dinner last night. Waiting for it to warm up.
I believe I have one in .458 WM packed away. Hurts. Just moved and have not unpacked those rifles. I know it's a M77 and I remember a short barrel. Don't know if I'll ever take that one out again. Kind of a novelty cartridge for me.
I want new shooters to fire my guns. I spent a few hours cleaning last week just so my new shooter friend can try out a wide variety. From .22 to .458 Win Mag. I know that I should of made him help but I never make anyone help the first time. I like to get them hooked on the sport first.
I was wondering if I could shoot it out first. I would use lightly loaded lead rounds first. I didn't really know if there would be pressure issues. Any thoughts? It is in .45-70 if anyone cares.
Hi, I inherited a Ruger No1 and the barrel is rusty. What is the best way to clean this? It is a very nice rifle otherwise. I tried to take pics but they didn't show enough to bother posting. I don't want to use anything too abrasive and cause further damage. thanks.
