Letter to a metal detector company

People do that all the time with companies, either through filing BBB complaints, Attorney General complaints or by lawsuits. My opinion is that their ads are deceptive. You are free to disagree. Just don't criticize my means of pursuing my position because you don't happen to agree with my...

Letter to a metal detector company

If you had looked at the date on my letter, you would see there hasn't been enough time for a response. Be more careful with your facts in the future. And also with your spelling. It's tattletale. And what's with your stooping to that type of statement? Hardly the high road. Other posters...

My take is that since they had to approve the ad, it originated in Texas. Well, we will see if they respond.

Could one start an airline in the US that didn't ban passengers from carrying guns?

GW45 is right on all counts. In addition, it's actually in the United States Code. And don't forget the state level limitations in CCW laws. Some states exclude passenger terminals.:cuss: However, my understanding of FAA regs is a private jet service (like the ones flown by CEO's and...

NPR program to examine CCW at colleges

Just finished listening They had an equal amount of pro and anti callers on. But the two university people they had as guests (one from Iowa and one from New York state) regurgitated the same rhetoric about how college students don't have the training to handle emergency situations.:barf:

Gun control: New Jersey vs. Virginia

I just got back from NJ (I live right across the river in Philadelphia) after visiting my relatives for a family function. While the opportunity to visit my relatives makes it worth the trip, I always feel I have to take a shower when I get home to symbolicly wash off the filth of...

In civil law, this concept is called "assumption of risk" and is a defense against the original lawsuit. Besides, VT and any other state controlled universities probably enjoy sovereign immunity protection.
