I have owned 4 Kimbers. A stainless target II, a CDP Pro II, an Eclipse Custom II, and currently an Eclipse Pro II. All have shot very well and functioned perfectly. My next 1911 will likely be another Kimber.
I have purchased 4 handguns and an AR lower in the last year without issue. I also have a valid carry permit and put down my SSN. Absolutely nothing about my status has changed. Last night I went to buy a new P938 at Cabelas and was delayed by the NICS.
Why would that happen?
Do delays ever get...
My Kimber Eclipse II and 25th Anniversary Custom both have loose grip safeties. I sent the Eclipse in and they replaced the grip safety but it's really no better than before. Side to side play on both. As long as it doesn't rattle in the holster, I quit worrying about it. My CDP is snug with no...

Not sure if it's relevent or a separate issue or no issue at all, but after looking closely at the fired cases, there are three or four scratches right at the junction between the shoulder and the body. Maybe a couple thousandths deep and wide and .020 long. Can barely feel them with the pad of...
Tried that, no marks. It's been suggested elsewhere that I may not have done a very good job cleaning the chamber while shooting. I cleaned the bore quite often but did not mop the chamber. Maybe sovent or dirt there causing problems?
I just finished shooting my new Savage 10FCP and noticed that I have a shiny ejector mark on the headstamp of some of my brass. Handloads and factory Federal Gold Match.
To make a long story longer, I started my session with 5 rounds of the GMM, then proceeded with my handloads from lightest to...
I've had a Kahr PM9 for a couple of years now. Never had a jam of any kind except for the first round off of a full mag failing to feed after slide has locked open on an empty mag. This is easily solved by using the slide stop/release instead of slingshotting the slide when loading, which Kahr...
