    Update: CCW in National Parks

In re reading the proposal, I found repeated mention of "concealed, loaded" firearms. The use of these terms over and over indicates to me that it means just that, and no mention of any other form of carry is made at all. I was disappointed when I first saw this but it's still a step in the...

Let me hunt for free, you jerk

"Allow me to suggest that if you think fee hunting or locking off access is so wrong. Why dont you go buy or lease a few thousand acres and put up hunter welcome signs ? You too can then have the joys of being a Landowner and attending to the cost and matienence that others on your property...

The F4 was and is one of the great warplanes in history. I suspect you've been talking to other non aviators too much.

    Elk hunting flattops wilderness

The dead fish were probably suffocated. Lots of the lakes are pretty shallow, and if they are covered with deep snow for long, the oxygen content of the water drops to lethal levels. Some lakes winter kill, but many are either deep enough or have inlet/outlet streams and don't.

.308 for Mule Deer and Elk?

There's been some really bad information posted in this thread about CO hunting rules and regs. Go to http://wildlife.state.co.us/Hunting to get the real stuff. Seasons aren't all the same length, and you aren't restricted to one combined season. You aren't restricted to one license per...

    GCO is a pro-gun group with a dangerous agenda . . .

TimboKahn, All that superiority and pomposity must be a heavy load for that horse. I'll admit you make some points, but your delivery needs work:-) You still didn't make the connection to the rules you quote.

    GCO is a pro-gun group with a dangerous agenda . . .

And your point is?? A play on words about a leftist rag is hardly an objectionable slur on any of the groups or people mentioned in the rules. What would you do, boil the board down to the point you can't say anything about anything?

Personal true story. RV stop in ILL.

The law has nothing to do with "interstate highways". The interstate reference means travelling from state to state, regardless of the highway used.

    A must-read by Peggy Noonan

IMHO, the thing that drives people nuts about GWB is that he doesn't care what the polls say. He does what he thinks is right. Before the flames start, I'll say this: unfortunately just because he THINKS he's right doesn't mean he is. He compounds this problem by not explaining why he does...

    Moving to Colorado Springs CO

Go to www.blgc.org (Ben Lomond Gun Club) and see if you like what you see. They have over 600 acres with 10 bermed pistol lanes, a long range black powder range, a covered bench rest 100 yard range, shotgun ranges, rimfire silhouet (sp?) range, and a long range high power range with 200, 300...
