    Safety while on a cruise.

Guys not to put a damper on this but… In this post 9/11 world most cruse lines put your bags through x-ray while they are taking them on board. Any carry on must go through a machine also. You must pass through a metal detector with an ID check. If “you” didn’t get off the ship you do not get...

I was talking to the Captain in charge if our local jail. I was told that peper spray that they use usually works well. But NOT always. Some just wipe their eyes and keep comming. :what: :what:

    Georgia Homeowners Association Clause

It's a contract. They and you can ask for the world. It is limited to what you both agree on. The sky's the limit... That being said, The HOA is only as good as the lawyer that drew up the papers. Most of the time the developer and/or builders that started the subdivision had them written...

New Atlanta Georgia Aquarium - NO legal CCW

Just an observation of a friend that went to the aquarium. He said that there is a secure storage area for knives, lighters, etc.. It’s a large trash can behind the guard’s table at the entrance. :what: :what: :neener:

    My Katrina eyewitness account.

I grew up on Bayou LaFourche nprth of Grand Isle. Ex brother in law still there. He said around his place no real damage from water just wind. But looking at the news footage I would guess 80-90% of the area frim NO to Mobile totaled. Some may be just a frw blocks inland other places a mile or...

Dad's Take (WWII Vet) on the Nuke

Dad would of been 83 this year. That was what he said too. I bought a Toyota in '73 and heard it from him. He never talked much about his time as a radio operator in the Merchant Service but there were a few stories that he did tell. I got the feeling that there were lots of things that...

WW II Images and Gun Stories

Dad would of been 83 this year. He was a LtJG Radio operator in the Merchant Marine. He couldn't afford a camera and they probibly would of taken it from him if he had it. Some of the stories he told were funny and some were serious. He was in the Atlantic, Med, and Pacific. It's a wonder...

Anyone watch The Closer last night?

I saw the last show. (well I was on the computer at the time and only half paying attention) It sounded more to me like she was putting on a "dumb little ole me" act as a lot of true southern women can do. Her accent seemed to get thicker and more "high" class refined (Think Dixie Carter on...

U.S has to pay hospitals for illegals.

The wife has a couple of cronic things that require regular meds. WITH our insurance coverage it costs us about 6grand out of pocket last year. Now there are telling us that our premiums are going up and coverage is going down. :cuss: :cuss: :banghead:

    Gun-related jokes?

The only thing close I can come up with is: Russian Sniper Instructor giving a class to prospective snipers. “I am required to give safety lecture. Start lecture. This is gun. Gun dangerous. End lecture.†:D

My son turned my carry gun on himself

My prayers to you and yours. My brother-in-law did the same in his family room. Be two years on 9-11. It'll take time but you will heal.
