I checked my extractor and it a little slidy thing on the bolt so I'm assuming it would be a pushfeed
I appreciated your input but I finally got out to shot a few rounds and this is what I found. All brass is federal commercial.
I marked 5 rounds with a sharpie where it says FC on the...
I have a 1956 vintage Winchester model 70 in 30-06. I shot some Federal 150 grain ammo and some Winchester 150 grain ammo through it. I wanted to reload the brass for the Model 70 and for highpower in my M1 so I tumbled, polished, sized trimmed and all that. When I was getting ready to...
Thats the "problem" Money. With an AR I can rebarrel it and work on it my self. I don't need a smith to make it shoot.
the last thing I want to do is buy a new gun and take it straight over to a gun smith.
I guess I'll just have to save up and get an M1A and get an AR10 to go with my AR15.
If I could get Spring Field to guarantee max of 2 moa I think I would jump at one. 3 moa leaves way to much room for slop from the manufacturer.
I have an AR that shoots great and also get the benefit of a ton of after market parts and bolt on uppers of different calibers.
I think the ARs...
I was thinking about getting a Loaded M1A from Spring Field. I talked with them and they told me they guarantee the rifle to shoot under 3 moa.
Seems like thats a lot of moa for a brand new gun these days.
Quesion is: if you have one how does it shoot? How acccurate is one out of the...
I have an AR15 in 223 and was looking for a round I could use in the AR and in a bolt gun.
I would like to be able to swap out the uppers and go from my 223 to something else and use the “something else caliber” for shooting out to 600 yrds in a bolt action.
I do not want to get an...
I need a gun case I can put my AR15 in that I can mount to my ATV.
I see all kinds of them for scoped bolt actions but none for an AR
Anybody know if they make one for an AR? If so where can I get one?
You didn't say whether you are loading on a progressive, turret, or single stage press. If you are loading on a progressive or turret press use a a universal decapping die in station #1 to make sure there isn't any media in the flash hole. If you using a single stage press you will need to...
I’m shooting a RRA AR and have had the unfortunate luck to have had a 5 shot group of a little less than ½ inch.
I was shooting Reloads with 52 gn AMAX at 100 yards.
Now I want to do again and then some more. I’ve developed an obsession, no a habit , I mean a hobby now...
I’m looking for the right way to clean my 223 brass. I want a better, faster, more efficient way of getting this stuff clean.
I’m reloading 223 for High Power matches and for practice.
This is what I’m doing now.
1) Take dirty brass and run it through non treated corn cob.
2)...
Does anyone have any experience with Para Ordnance P16 limited?
I was thinking about buying one and wanted to get some info or feed back from someone that has been shooting one.
Any problems? How accurate? Would you buy another one?
When I talked to Sringfield they told me the Loaded M1A would shoot 3 inch or under. At 300 yards thats a pretty big group.
The national match was supposed to shoot 1 1/2 inch groups at 100 yards
