There is this thing used in 3gun, but I think rail space is the issue rather than sight radius in the design.
"The JPSRTS is the ideal solution for supplementing a long-range optic or precision iron sight setup where fast, reflexive short-range engagement from point-blank to 35 or 40 yards is...
I know that longer sight radiuses are more accurate, but what about speed?
It seems to me that having a longer sight radius would make it slower to line them up. Has anyone experimented with this? Does it make any difference?
Between say a normal AR carbine sight radius and a 20" AR...
Is there such a thing as magnum 2 3/4" 12 gauge shells? Or does magnum simply mean 3"?
And how does it relate to the height of the brass? I have some target birdshot with low brass, some Wolf rifled slugs with normal brass height, and some Remington 00 buckshot with really high brass. The...
I'm looking for some videos that go in to USPSA/IDPA techniques and also self-defense shooting. There are a lot of DVDs for sale out there but I'm not sure who is actually a credible authority. Which DVDs are recommended as credible, proven training?
I bought an XD 9 around 2005. What changes have been made to the XD since then, other than the slide finish? Are there different generations like glock, or is the one I have still the same as current production?
I noticed some new magazines I bought are 16 rounds instead of 15 round that came...
I'm talking about the screw-on rubber grips designed for the 1911. Ruger released a 22/45 a while ago that is supposed to accept 1911 grips as standard without needing to dremel anything. I was wondering if the hogue ones would fit because they are a one piece grip, not the normal side panels.
Here's another attack that happened in DC a few days ago

All the ones I see on Gunbroker have straight serrations. But they have the RTF2 grip so I know they aren't stock pictures of a regular gen 3. I can't find one with the curves.
Why does the Glock 19 RTF2 have regular straight slide serrations, but all the other models like the 17 have the curved ones?
Why didn't they add the curved ones on the 19?
