I'm talking about the screw-on rubber grips designed for the 1911. Ruger released a 22/45 a while ago that is supposed to accept 1911 grips as standard without needing to dremel anything. I was wondering if the hogue ones would fit because they are a one piece grip, not the normal side panels.
repo - I do believe the Houge wrap-arounds do fit the Mark III 22/45 frame. I have seen them on 22/45s that people have modified to accept 1911 grips have these Houges. I haven't seen any detail photos to assess the fit but I've seen people post photos of them. Look around the gallery on www.rimfirecentral.com . You might have to do some very minor reshaping on any 1911 grips for the 22/45 due to some minor differences.
